The main event

The Medora Musical

Every summer night, the Burning Hills Amphitheatre fills a natural badlands bowl with live country music, stunt riders, and a tribute to Theodore Roosevelt. It's the show North Dakota plans its summer around, and it's five minutes from where we work.

The Musical and Pitchfork Steak Fondue are seasonal. Check current dates before planning your visit; ElkHorn Solutions is not affiliated with either attraction.

Getting here

  • Fly into Dickinson (DIK) or Bismarck (BIS), then drive west on I-94 to exit 27 or 24.
  • We meet you in Medora, most sessions start in town, then head into the badlands.
  • Bring layers and boots. We supply coffee, notebooks, and the plan.
