Accessibility

We build this site toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That is our target for every new page we publish.

• Semantic headings, landmarks and labelled forms that work with screen readers.
• Keyboard access to every link, button, menu and form control, with visible focus.
• High-contrast monochrome type in both light and dark mode.
• Text alternatives for images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive tech.
• Background film that is muted, silent and reduced when your device requests reduced motion.
• Maps and event details also presented as text and lists, not only as a graphic.

Some third-party content we embed — maps, ticketing pages and video players — is outside our control and may not fully meet AA. Older field notes may lack complete image descriptions. We fix these as we find them.
